Being Taught From My Betting Blunders

First to clarify why I write this essay. I have been wagering on the internet or at a brick and mortar betting houses for many years. I have discovered, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up until you are bankrupt. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you decide to track your loss and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you become queasy in your gut and the more you try the quicker you lose.

When you see that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, believe me, this method almost never ever works. Say you are betting on slots, have a bankroll set aside before starting your action. DO NOT go over that limit, no matter how alluring. If you actually win, put that in a different cup. Do not risk your wins no matter what. As soon as you’ve played through your original set limit, call it a day. Head out, whether it is on the web or at a land based betting house, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, a different time.

Always remember, gambling should be FUN not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not manage the cost, do not even start.
